The Aldeburgh Gallery is a light and airy space, a professional Art Gallery, established in 1993, it has helped to establish and promote thousands of artists over the years.
The gallery is set in the centre of Aldeburgh's busy high street, which has thousands of visitors each year. Open seven days a week, it has a regular following of visitors for its ever changing weekly exhibitions throughout the year. Exhibiting mostly painters, printmakers, 2 and 3-D artists and craft makers, the gallery attracts prominent and new artists, from around the Suffolk coast and the British Isles.
The gallery can be hired on a weekly basis by visiting artists and we aim to come up with a programme of new, innovative and exciting exhibitions throughout the year.
The Aldeburgh Gallery promotes the weekly exhibitions with its website and newsletter and with a printed gallery programme which goes to the visitors on our mailing list. We also promote the gallery in art and local magazines. Artists are also encouraged to their own promoting and advertising to support their exhibitions.
A Mailchimp mailing to promote your exhibition can be sent out to all subscribers of the Aldeburgh Gallery mailing list for a charge of £50.00.

Is there parking available outside the gallery? Yes there is parking available in the High Street, which is less busy towards the end of the day when you are setting up and taking down your exhibition, otherwise its a question of finding a space were you can. There is also free parking in The Terrace behind the gallery, where you can leave your car all day and walk down the steps in West Lane close to the gallery. Pay and display parking is also available nearby.

What about advertising? The gallery produces a yearly printed programme to promote all the exhibitions for the year, this goes out to everyone on our mailing list. Artists are asked to submit some images and a short description for this (a clear high-res image and about 30-40 words) when booking the gallery. They should be emailed to arts@aldeburghartsgallery.co.uk (copies will be sent to our website designer and printer). The deadline for this is December before the year of your show. We also advertise in local magazines and send out newsletters. Artists are encouraged to do their own advertising and send out invitations for their PVs to friends and clients.
What about email publicity? A Mailchimp mailing advertising your show can be emailed to all the Aldeburgh Gallery mailing list of over 400 subscribers prior to your exhibition at a charge of £45.00.
